THE RISK OF BEING A BULLSHITTER

Posted by PrestoPundit on 05/16/2008

is that it’s easy to get in way over your head.  If you’re Barack Obama that means speaking on your feet about the history of diplomacy and American foreign policy . This ain’t Kissinger we’re dealing with here — closer to Jimmy Carter.  Anyhow, I’m not sure why anyone thought a “community organizer” out of the slime bucket of Chicago politics would be qualified to run American foreign policy, any more than we should have thought that the managing partner of a baseball team was qualified to run it.

And I’m glad to see the McCain has begun to agree with me that Obama isn’t fit to be President of the United States, and he has the cajones to say so:

“Senator Obama does not have the knowledge, the experience, the
background to make the kind of judgments that are necessary to preserve
this nation’s security.”

And what I really love is that Obama can’t handle it that the man running for President who’s spent his whole life dealing with the problem of defending American doesn’t think that he’s, “fit to protect this nation.”  This is clearly true, and because it’s true it obviously gets under Obama’s skin, enough to smoke the man out, tempting him to indulge his worst proclivity for picking up the shovel and unloading a pile — which is just what Obama has done.  Good work Mr. McCain, at this late date I wasn’t sure you still had it in you.
